Abstracts and e-Posters

The submission period for all abstracts has now ended. In the coming weeks, the e-Poster schedule will be released in full. Please check back frequently for updates and check out the Schedule at a Glance for current programming.

  • Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at 11:59 pm ET - Late-Breaking submission site closes.
  • May 7 – 10, 2020 - EMBRAACE 2020 in Washington, DC

Accepted abstracts are made available to the public online on Thursday, May 7, 2020, and will be published as an online supplement to Endocrine Practice. The information contained in those abstracts may not be released until the date of poster presentations. Academic institutions, private organizations, and information contained in an abstract may issue a press release to coincide with the availability of an AACE abstract on the AACE website. However, AACE continues to require that information that goes beyond that contained in the abstract (e.g., discussion of the abstract done as part of a scientific presentation or presentation of additional new information that will be available at the time of the meeting) is under embargo until 9:45 am ET on Thursday, May 7, 2020.

Violation of this policy may result in the abstract being withdrawn from the meeting and other measures deemed appropriate. Authors are responsible for notifying financial and other sponsors about this policy.

All posters will be presented as digital e-posters using state-of-the-art, high-definition monitors. Presenters avoid the cost and inconvenience of traveling with posters. Attendees can access e-posters in the meeting app on their own devices during or after the meeting.

Posters will be displayed in the Walter E. Reed Convention Center in the exhibit hall beginning on Thursday, May 7. Presenters will display their posters on the scheduled date based upon their membership submission category and answer questions at designated times.

Selection of top-scoring abstracts for presentation is based on merit, creativity and significance to the science and practice of endocrinology. Abstract presentations are scheduled for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Details will be available online. Primary authors of the selected abstracts will be notified by email no later than one month prior to the meeting.
